In an Op-Ed about Planned Parenthood, a nonprofit focusing on sexual health, Iva details the reasons why Planned Parenthood is at risk of defunding and what that can mean for Americans all over the nation.
While doing research on UIC Safety, Iva discovered a disparity when it came to the safety of women. In a feature story, she interviews two women on campus to understand their experiences.
While researching suicide rates among queer youth in America, Iva connected with Jordyn, a struggling teen who was able to expand on the real-life struggles felt by many of these people.
During her time at UIC Radio, Iva was able to connect with UIC Alumni and Grammy Artist Matt B. In their interview, they talk about his creative processes, his recent successes, and his goals moving forward.
